Kinetica Names Irina Farooq as VP, Product Management
Kinetica, provider of the instant insight engine for the Extreme Data Economy, today announced it has hired Irina Farooq as vice president of product management. In this position, she will report to CTO and co-founder Nima Negahban, and focus on driving the company’s product strategy and roadmap in order to help customers get the actionable insights that transform their businesses.
An enterprise product executive with a demonstrated history of bringing innovative products to market across a variety of sectors, including enterprise software, networking, IoT, and cloud, Farooq joins Kinetica from Riverbed Technology, where she held a variety of leadership roles including Vice President of Products and Strategy for the Service Provider Business and Vice President of Product Management for Steelhead, Riverbed’s flagship product. Prior to Riverbed, Farooq held product management positions at Grid Net, Silver Spring Networks, and Oracle.
