Kinetica, the leading Active Analytics Platform for the modern digital economy, announced today that the company has been accredited by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore‘s (IMDA) Accreditation@SG Digital program, to deliver deep data analytics and other data-intensive capabilities like artificial intelligence (AI) and geospatial analysis. With this prestigious acknowledgement, Kinetica stands to gain opportunities to offer its products and solutions to the Singapore government, and the company will be able to further expand its triple-digit growth in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
The Accreditation@SG Digital (Accreditation@SGD) is a programme by which IMDA accelerates the development and growth of Singapore-based companies through recurring market access platforms and match-making of government and enterprise demands. It plays a vital role in developing Singapore’s Infocomm Media (ICM) technology ecosystem, which aims to invest and build capabilities in upcoming disruptive technologies such as AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, immersive media, and Internet of Things (IoT).
“We are excited to welcome Kinetica to the Accreditation@SG Digital programme, where they can enable government agencies and enterprises to leverage geospatial data to derive meaningful insights and address complex data challenges. Through our programme, we hope to connect Kinetica with sophisticated users to drive new business opportunities,” said Mr. Edwin Low, Director of Enterprise Growth Acceleration, Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore.
“The sought-after accreditation offered by the highly respected IMDA confirms Kinetica’s readiness to tackle the most significant data challenges governments and businesses face today,” said Mr. Stuart Fisher, President, Asia Pacific at Kinetica. “With the partnership of Singapore’s IMDA, we will be able to address the most complex business IoT, edge, and artificial intelligence challenges the region faces, such as 5G rollout, smart city initiatives, financial risk assessment, and real-time customer and citizen response across industries.”
Enterprises can use Kinetica’s platform to build smart analytical applications that capture data, continuously assess it, and automatically react – revolutionizing the pace and potential of businesses across industries. Kinetica’s approach aligns with IMDA’s objective of fostering an innovative technopreneur ecosystem to build market-leading products that can scale globally and drive regional economic growth.
In addition to being accredited by IMDA, Kinetica most recently expanded its footprint in Australia and New Zealand to offer significant growth market opportunities for early technology adopters from banking to telecommunications. Kinetica’s extensive work with Indonesia’s leading mobile carrier, Telkomsel, and the market’s largest digital payments platform, OVO, a subsidiary of the Lippo Group, as well as other brands including Softbank in Japan is a testament to the company’s commitment to growing its presence in the region on an accelerated timeline.
The Kinetica Active Analytics Platform brings together all key elements of active analytics in a unified platform: historical data analytics, streaming data analytics, location intelligence, and AI and ML-powered predictive analytics. The Kinetica Platform includes a distributed, in-memory, GPU-accelerated database that utilizes a powerful combination of CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs to analyze massive, complex datasets with millisecond response times.
